Englewood City Center 

Engaged by the City of Englewood to consult on the financial complexities associated with the City’s desire to continue to look for ways to leverage its civic area for the benefit of its residents.  The former Cinderella City shopping mall was redeveloped by the City and the Englewood Urban Renewal Authority late 1990’s.  Strae’s role is to advise City staff in the financial structuring possible with special districts, as well as applications of tax increment financing available through a potential downtown development authority.  Strae works with the City and private property owners, interested real estate development firms, law firms, planners, designers, and other disciplines in order to thoroughly investigate and inform City staff and officials on their goals for the area.
